Search for missing Worksop man

Steven Robert Thomas, 53, was reported missing from his home in Kilton yesterday (Monday).

There are concerns about Mr Thomas’s welfare and his state of mind following two recent bereavements.

As well as extensive local enquiries, the search has extended to Scarborough on the North Yorkshire coast, where Mr Thomas has connections.

It is believed he may be travelling in a silver Nissan Almera, registration number MK03 SCX.

Mr Thomas is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of large build and with very short, receding hair. He wears glasses, but it is not known what clothing he was wearing at the time of his disappearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Notts Police on 101 and quote incident number 682 of 27th August.
