Seafield scoops popcorn contract

Cornscape, which has manufacturing sites in Barnsley, produce popcorn for a number of prestigious customers supplying major retailers, cinemas and DVD stores.

Seafield’s site at Claylands Avenue in Worksop will be receiving in excess of 30,000 pallets each year and distributing the finished product to customers around the UK.

Raw corn and ‘Popz’ corn containers are also being received from America and Europe.

The company say the new business will increase the fleet at Claylands by a further two vehicles.

Seafield will deliver in excess of 900 loads each year throughout the UK using dedicated vehicles.

The company, whose head office is in Worksop, currently operates a fleet of over 120 vehicles across 17 locations AND manages over 450,000 square feet of warehousing.
