School goes back in time

TIME-TRAVELLING pupils at Willoughton Primary School rolled back the centuries and held a special Tudor exhibition for parents.

“We’d been looking at the Tudors so we decided that at the end of the topic we would have a museum day throughout the school to show off all that we’d learned,” said teacher Tracey Gell.

“My class made their own bread and butter and we also had some Tudor dancing.”

She continued: “One girl even wrote an alternative ending to one of Shakespeare’s plays and we had some children acting that out.”

Ms Gell added: “It really just showed off how much the children have learned and they really enjoyed themselves.”
