There is severe disruption on the M1 southbound between junction 33 at Catcliffe and junction 32 at Thurcroft.
This is due to an earlier broken down vehicle. Congestion is backing up to junction 34 for Meadowhall.
On the M18 northbound all lanes have now been reopened following an earlier incident involving a lorry which had a blown out tyre.
It was affecting traffic between junction 32 of the M1 at Thurcroft and the M18 junction 1 at Bramley.
Traffic is now beginning to move again in the area.
