Road closure in new year

MotoristS are being warned of a road closure and diversion after Christmas as part of the £14.7 million improvement scheme to the A57.

From Monday 7th January the B6463 Todwick Road will be closed at its junction with the A57 at Todwick Crossroads and will remain closed until the end of April.

During the closure period traffic will be diverted via the B6060 through Dinnington and North Anston.

The road closure is part of a £14.7 million improvement scheme by Rotherham Borough Council that will see the A57 turned into a dual carriageway from the Todwick crossroads to Junction 31 of the M1 motorway.
