Road closed after car overturns

The incident is reported to have taken place near to the Brandy Wharf turning after the Tractor Arctic vehicle overturned, which was reported to police at 10.04am. The driver has been injured as a result and taken to hospital for treatment, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police and other agencies are on scene assisting with traffic management. The road is closed in the immediate vicinity, at Caenby Corner, the B1205, and Snitterby junction.

Diversions are in place and motorists are asked to seek alternative routes where possible.

Recovery work is being carried out and the road is expected to remain closed for the majority of the day while this takes place.
