Almost 3,000 bicycles are stolen in NottS every year as they are often left unsecured which is the perfect opportunity for opportunist thieves.

The most recent thefts happened on Tuesday 16th September when three bikes were taken from properties in North Road, Long Walk and Woodside.

Two silver and one purple mountain bikes were taken.

Bikes have been taken at all times of day.

On 25th August a red Carrera mountain bike was stolen from address near Tiln Lane. Police would like to speak to a man riding a white mountain bike who was seen in the area. He was wearing a grey and black jacket with the hood up and grey jogging bottoms.
