Retford: Popular annual ‘Apple Day’ festival returns this week

The event, run entirely by volunteers, has been rated amongst the top 10 ‘apple days’ in the country by The Daily Telegraph, with funds raised to be donated to cancer charities.

The event takes place at East Markham Village Hall and at the Heritage Orchard in the village.

There will be home cooked apple recipes to sample on the day along with hot pork sandwiches, recipe books for sale, cider bar, live entertainment and much more.
