Retford: New community group enjoys successful first meeting
A new service for people with memory loss or dementia has enjoyed a successful first meeting.
The Wednesday Group launch welcomed both service-users and carers to the Goodwin Hall and will now meet every Wednesday between 12pm to 3.30pm. Each session has a leader and deputy leader who are supported by a team of volunteers. Each session costs £10 per visit and that includes lunch.
Drew Smith, chairman of Retford Memory Loss Management Committee said: “The day couldn’t have gone any better.”
