Retford: Man killed in collision with HGV at Ranby named
The motorist who was killed in a crash on the A1 early on Saturday 11th April has been named by police.
Richard Armitage, 49, from Leeds, died when his Audi A5 car collided with the rear of a parked HGV in a lay-by off the southbound carriageway, close to the Ranby exit, at around 6.20am.
The driver of the HGV was uninjured.
