Pupils scoop gold for film

PUPILS in Anston are celebrating after scooping an award at Rotherham’s version of the Oscars.

Pupils at Anston Greenlands Junior and Infant School scooped a gold award at the Roscars last month.

Youngsters produced a film called Little Red Hen.

The awards celebrate the creative arts in Rotherham schools and provides an excellent opportunity for pupils to showcase their talents. There was an Olympic theme with the entries being based on one of the Olympic values; courage, determination, equality, excellence, friendship, inspiration and respect.
