Pupils join Retford band for charity single

And David and the band are delighted that pupils of Thrumpton Primary School choir were happy to join them on the recording.

David commented: “We’re delighted to be associated with Thrumpton Primary School, and have thoroughly enjoyed working with staff and children.

“We hope the song will prove popular.”

Cat Thornton, head teacher at Thrumpton, added: “It’s been a pleasure to get involved in this project.

“Singing is at the heart of Thrumpton as something I am personally passionate about as vocalist with my own local band, Heads Will Roll.

“It’s been great to give some of our choir the opportunity to experience a real recording studio and hopefully this will inspire them further.”

Riff Reign formed in 2014 to perform David’s songs.
