Krystian, 21, was tragically killed in a car accident near Carburton on Tuesday 18th December.

The church on Wingfield Avenue was full as people attended the regular Polish laguage mass for the fourth Sunday of Advent.

Father Kazimierz Bidzinski, who led the service on Sunday, said their thoughts and prayers were with Krystian and his family.

“We pray for Krystian and for his family - the Polish community are deeply saddened by this tragedy,” he said.

“We wish him eternal life and we also wish God bless to his family - may they have many peaceful days in the New Year.”
