Congestion is building on the A617 due to a lane closure whilst the work is completed.
The traffic is built up near junction 29 of the M1 between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
This has also caused a build-up at the B6425 Hassocky Lane junction.
Pothole repairs cause traffic chaos in Nottinghamshire
Drivers are queueing in stop-start traffic on a major Nottinghamshire road today (October 6) as pothole repairs are carried out.
