Hide AdNeil Taylor, returning officer for the district council said: “We understand that people may be worried about the voting process this year amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
“If you choose to vote in person, you can expect to find many of the measures you’ve become used to in shops and banks over recent months, such as hand sanitiser, social distancing signs and face masks.
“But you also have the option to vote by post or by proxy and local democracy remains extremely important as it gives people the opportunity to have their say on a range of local issues that affect their daily lives.”
If you are not registered to vote, you can do so online here.
