Police trying to track down Gainsborough robber

Lincolnshire Police is asking for any information on the robbery, which took place on Market Street.

A man entered the rear of Ladbrokes bookmakers from Roseway Car park at around 0915 this morning.

A force spokesman said: “He gained access to the cashier section of the premises where he has taken an amount of cash.

“No one was hurt and the man fled the scene from Roseway car park towards North Street and Spittal Terrace.”

Anybody with information should call the police on 101 and bring it to the attention of DC Jim Wilson and PC Philip Gidlow.
