Police step up patrols after '˜suspicious' behaviour reported by Worksop school pupils
Police have stepped up patrols after reports of suspicious behaviour were reported by school pupils in the town.
Outwood Academy Valley sent a warning text to parents after two unrelated incidents in which people were seen acting suspiciously on Raymoth Lane, Worksop and High Road, Carlton-in-Lindrick on Friday.
A police spokesman said no child was approached or spoken to and no arrests have been made, but enquiries are on-going.
“Neighbourhood Policing patrols have been increased around the schools at key times of day,” he added.
