Police release image of Audi wanted for Bircotes Post Office cash theft

Officers investigating a series of thefts from cash machines in Nottinghamshire have released this picture of a dark-coloured Audi estate car they believe was used during the incidents.

Police enquiries are ongoing following reports of thefts of cash from a cash machine at the Post Office in Scrooby Road, Bircotes, during the early hours of Sunday, December 9.

It is believed the men in question are also related to incidents in Bingham and Radclife-on-Trent.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re linking these incidents as we believe the same dark-coloured Audi estate was involved in all of them.

“We believe that someone out there will have seen it travelling either to or from the scenes and we would appeal to those people to get in touch with us. We’re also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured the vehicle on dashcam footage.

“We’re pursuing a number of lines of enquiry, including identifying CCTV opportunities, and we’re appealing for anyone who has any information about these incidents to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
