Police hunt hit and run attacker in Notts

Police are hunting a hit and run driver who drove into a pedestrian and then punched him in Ashfield.

The alleged hit and run attack took place in the car park of the Co-op superstore on Stanton Hill in Sutton at around 4.15pm on Tuesday, January 19.

The suspect was driving a small red vehicle through the car park towards the High Street exit when it collided with the victim.

The driver then confronted the victim and assaulted him further by punching him, according to the police.

The victim suffered with arm injuries and had to go to hospital.

Officers are keen for witnesses and to identify the car that the suspect was driving.
