Play time fun at Prospect

PUPILS and staff at Prospect Hill Infant and Nursery School celebrated the grand opening of the newly-refurbished Foundation outdoor play area.

Bassetlaw councillors Chris Wanless, Vicky Wanless, Alan Rhodes and Shirley Toms donated money to the play park which was in a much-needed state of repair.

Headteacher Mrs Lancaster said the area was dangerous for pupils to play on.

“We are very pleased with the results. The area is now very accessible all year round and the children love playing on the train,” she said.

“Two canopies provide shelter from the sun and rain and so many varied activities can be provided to engage children in positive play.”
