IN PICTURES: Retford Illuminate lantern parade puts the spotlight on Mayflower
'‹More than 100 schoolchildren carried lanterns through Retford as part of the countdown to the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower Pilgrims.
The parade, led by Councillor Madelaine Richardson, Bassetlaw District Council chairman, and Coun Helen Richards, Retford mayor, made its way along Carolgate to Market Square where participants were treated to singing from group the Songbirds.
