Bridgette Parker, who works at Abel Office Machines LTD, on Carlton Road, Worksop, spent a whole three weeks creating ‘Melty’.

She decided to design the snowman, made of plastic cups, for a bit of fun ahead of Christmas.

People who entered the store were asked to guess how many cups the snowman was made of and what his name was as part of a festive competition.

“I used 468 cups and the winner (Ted Hardy) guessed 480 so it was very close,” Bridgette said.

“Nobody guessed the name, but we drew them out of a hat and chose the winner (Oliver Brown) that way.”

It was the first year that Bridgette has decided to run the competition, but didn’t rule out another next year.

“It wasn’t that bad to make,” she said.

“I am working on something for next year.

“It is something different”

The winners were also presented with a selection of goodies.
