Excited pupils at a Worksop nursery marked the start of the World Cup this week by celebrating the different countries involved.
Tots at Treetops Nursery, based at Celtic Point, enjoyed a week of themed activities dedicated to a different country each day- starting on Monday (June 18) with England.
Jo McGrath, nursery manager at Treetops Worksop, said: “The World Cup is the perfect opportunity for our children to experience and better understand different cultures from around the globe, as well as learn about the importance of being active and healthy. It’s all part of our commitment to giving children the best start in life.
“We’re really excited for the community to come and join in on the fun, as it’s great to share what we do and receive valuable feedback from parents.
“We’ve organised a range of fun activities to suit each age group, so families can pick a time and an activity that their child will enjoy most.”
