Phone lines down at GP surgeries across Nottinghamshire

The problem has not affected all lines and patients experiencing problems are advised to visit their surgery or call NHS 111.

Engineers are currently trying to fix the issue.

“It would also be advisable for people to check whether their relatives need any extra support to access services during this period,” said an NHS England (North Midlands) spokesman.

“Virgin Media are working to fully restore services as quickly as possible.

“For non-urgent support, people can also visit local pharmacists who are able to provide expert advice on a range of conditions.

“If your health condition is serious and life threatening please call 999 straightaway.

“We will continue to monitor the situation and provide additional advice and information should it be required.”
