Worksop Library is closed today due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’, staff have said.

In a statement Inspire, which runs the Memorial Avenue library, said: “Worksop Library will be closed today (Tuesday, May 4).

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

"We hope to reopen tomorrow, but please keep an eye on our website inspireculture.org.uk/servicedisruptions for updates.”

The library welcomed back visitors on April 12 after devastating floods in 2019 forced the closure of the building.
