Worksop bus staff win special award for flood efforts
Stagecoach East Midlands staff in Worksop have won the Outstanding Performance Award at the national Stagecoach Stars Awards for their efforts after their depot was flooded last November.
Engineering teams worked tirelessly throughout the incident to protect premises, equipment and vehicles.
Despite not being able to access the depot for four days, the team demonstrated exceptional dedication by wading through knee-deep water to keep the services running as best as they could and get the facilities back up and operational.
