The site was formerly occupied by the Horseshoe pub - which was knocked down and replaced with parking over a year ago.

Located near shops at the junction of Plantation Hill and Kilton Hill, the apartments are the latest proposal for the land after plans granted for eight houses came to nothing.

A design statement written on behalf of the builder by Ink Architectural Design reads how the apartments would include ‘the required amount of parking for residents and visitors’.

The apartments will also benefit from ‘usable communal garden and amenity space for the enjoyment and recreation of the owners’

Access to the site would come via Plantation Hill.

Ink Architectural Design write how ‘the proposals do not unreasonably dominate or result in loss of outlook from the main windows and garden areas of any neighbouring properties’.
