Rescue dog's new chapter in forever home
A dog adopted from the Mayflower sanctuary at Bawtry is entering a new chapter in its life story by appearing in a book.
Romanian rescue dog Kamu found a new forever home with freelance writer Mary Cook and her husband Nigel in Gainsborough on the weekend before lockdown took hold.
Now Mary’s story of Kamu has been accepted out of thousands of submissions for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series of anthologies, The Magic of Dogs.
