New phase of homes launched at 'semi-rural' Harworth development
A long standing RAF charity did the honours at the launch of new homes at a Harworth development.
The RAF Benevolent Fund officially launched a new phase of homes at Harworth’s Lancaster Gardens site.
Community fundraiser for the RAF Benevolent Fund, Rebecca Hooton, joined Barratt Homes to cut the ribbon at this second phase of three and four bedroom homes in Harworth.
Barratt Homes donated £1,000 to the RAF fund which provides financial, practical and emotional support for current and former RAF personnel and their families.

Lancaster Gardens, named after the legacy of the Avro Lancaster (Lancaster Bomber), is situated in over eight acres of open space.
Just a short walk from Harworth town centre, the development offers residents a semi-rural setting with local amenities nearby including schools, and excellent transport links with both the A1M and M18 close at hand.
Paul Hogan, sales director at Barratt Homes Yorkshire East, said: “We’re excited to launch the newest phase of homes at Lancaster Gardens. It was our pleasure to welcome Rebecca to cut the ribbon at the official launch and we hope the donation will make a positive impact.
“Lancaster Gardens is already becoming a flourishing community. We encourage anyone looking to buy a home to visit the development and speak to our dedicated sales teams about available and upcoming homes.”
Sarah McCullough, director of fundraising at the RAF Benevolent Fund, said: “Our sincere thanks to Barratt Homes for their generous donation to the Fund, which will go towards our vital work supporting serving and former RAF personnel and their families in their time of need.”
