The transformed Cuckney House on the historic Welbeck Estate near Worksop is now offering wedding packages.
The stunningly-restored Grade II listed Georgian manor house, best-known for having starred in the 2014 film Testament of Youth, is irresistibly romantic and offers the perfect location for an intimate and exclusive wedding.

Hide AdThe Grade II listed manor house has just become fully licenced for five civil weddings a year for up to 38 guests.


A spokesman for Cuckney House said: “Amongst Cuckney House’s grand and impressive rooms and landscaped gardens there’s everything one could possibly dream of for a magical big day.
"The panelled ballroom provides an elegant setting for the wedding breakfast and the all-important first dance, while the stunning Walled Garden can be transformed with fairy lights and fire pits into an al fresco setting like no other. Plus within its five acres of grounds, there’s countless hidden corners for romantic and treasured wedding photographs.”
Couples have the choice of having the licenced service in either the ballroom, the dining room, or the stunning Edwardian garden pavilion.

Hide AdFor couples who prefer a church wedding, the 12th-century local parish church is just five minutes’ walk from the House, and the Welbeck team can make introductions with the vicar.
Then, for guests staying the night, Cuckney House sleeps up to 38 guests across its 15 bedrooms. The Welbeck Estate offers eight other holiday cottages across the estate which can be rented by guests.
Cuckney House opened in 2023 following a complete refurbishment and redesign from Northern Design Award winner Rachel McLane.
Price: A two-night midweek package costs from £10,000, or a two-night weekend package costs from £13,000, based on 38 guests. Additional nights can be priced at £3,500. Package includes two nights’ accommodation at Cuckney House, a Civil or Celebrant ceremony, 2 bottles of Champagne, 4 estate-grown wildflower arrangements, event manager on the day, tableware and glassware for 40 guests, ceremony and dining furniture, coffee stations stocked with tea and coffee, inbuilt sound system, breakfast hamper for 38 guests and no corkage fee.
