Harron Homes hosts bake-off for Macmillan

Harron Homes colleagues at the Barlborough office, and the site team at The Grange in Shireoaks, brought their best cakes to work on September 30 for Macmillan.

Combined, they raised a total of £925, enough to pay for both a Macmillan support worker for a week, as well as a Macmillan grant that helps a family affected by cancer take a holiday and enjoy precious time together.

Currently 98 per cent of Macmillan’s funding comes directly from donations, so all contributions make a massive difference to the charity.

Natalie Griffiths, sales and marketing director for Harron Homes North Midlands said: “Macmillan is a wonderful charity that works incredibly hard to take care of people with and affected by cancer.

“It was fantastic to see our teams across the region pull together to create such a fabulous spread and we’re delighted to support the charity.”
