Fun for all the family at community fun day hosted by Worksop Christian Centre Life

There was plenty of fun in the sun at a community fun day at The Canch in Worksop hosted by Worksop Christian Centre Life.

Activities included the Chatterbox Toddlers Tent, face painting, a puppet show, soaking stocks, a free prize draw, treasure hunt, Whacky Races and much more. But the Whacky Races proved most popular on the day with children and adults alike queuing up to have a go at the traditional fun of egg and spoon, sack, wheelbarrow, walking, running, skipping and three-legged races, as well as tug-o-war.

WCC Life Pastor Rockey Andrew, together with Coun Julie Leigh (cabinet member of neighbourhoods at Bassetlaw District Council) and Coun David Pidwell, who came down to support the event and thanked the volunteers for WCC Life in The Park.
