Celebrity chef Phil Vickery will headline this summer’s North Notts Food Fest in Worksop - a day that is set to be full of delights for everyone.

Look forward to free family fun as the vibrant event returns to Worksop’s Old Market Square for hours of culinary celebration.

Organised by North Notts BID, the annual festival will liven up the town centre on Saturday, July 4, running from 10am to 4pm.

It will bring together celebrity chefs, local food talent, artisan traders and interactive family activities.

Phil Vickery, best known for his acclaimed television career and long-standing role as resident chef on This Morning, headlines this year’s event with two live cookery demonstrations in the main marquee.

Sally Gillborn MBE, chief executive at North Notts BID, said: “North Notts Food Fest continues to be one of the stand-out events in the district’s calendar, bringing together fantastic food, local businesses and free family entertainment in the heart of Worksop.

“We’re delighted to welcome Phil Vickery as our celebrity headline chef for 2026. His incredible culinary experience and warm, engaging style make him the perfect addition to what promises to be a tasty day out for visitors of all ages.”

Joining Phil in the main marquee will be festival favourite home economist and cookery demonstrator Teresa Bovey, alongside 2025 MasterChef finalist Claire Syrenne.

Visitors can enjoy a range of artisan food and drink stalls, with returning festival favourites including Treatyourself by JC, Manfredi Ice Cream, Shola and Spice and O'Donnell Moonshine.

New for this year is Bedda Pasta, a local vendor serving freshly prepared pasta from its distinctive Airstream trailer.

Families are well catered for too, with a children’s activity tent hosting interactive food science experiments throughout the day, so younger visitors can get hands-on and discover the fun side of food.

Sally added: “The Food Fest is all about celebrating the incredible food and drink offering we have here in North Nottinghamshire, while creating a vibrant and welcoming event for the whole community.

“It promises to be an absolute treat, so bring along your friends and family.”
