Immersive DJ and street dance workshops gave visitors the chance to explore hip-hop through DJing, breakin’, beatboxing and MCing, while free face painting, delivered in partnership with Discover Worksop, was available throughout the day.
The event celebrated Nottinghamshire’s heritage with the creation of the Robin Hood Community Mosaic, a unique piece of community art inspired by Robin Hood and Sherwood Forest.
A spokesperson from organisers North Notts BID said: “Autumn Fest provided a great opportunity for families to spend time together during half-term, enjoying a range of free activities in the heart of Worksop, from creating autumn crafts, contributing to the Robin Hood Community Mosaic and taking part in music and dance workshops.
“By following the sticker trail, the event also encouraged families to explore local businesses and enjoy everything the town has to offer, while celebrating the season and our local heritage.”
