The contemplative scene - lit up every night since Thursday with colour-changing LED lights - was created by Andrew Saunders.

Full-time foster carer Andrew told how after posting a photo of the remarkable monument on Facebook it had attracted more than 8,000 likes and been shared over 500 times.

Andrew, 39 said he and his partner had produced the beautiful display to cheer the street up as lockdown began while remembering the fallen from the First World War.
