Among the words uttered by Donald Trump at his inauguration as President of the USA.'¨
Two stand out as summarising what we can expect as his priority: ‘America first.’ Time will tell what the consequences of those two words will be – for his nation and the wider world. By contrast, the Christian is called to put others first. St Paul wrote, “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.
