Pause for Thought
Busy at the Golden Ball, someone asked if Jesus ever took a tea-break.
The combination of First Century Palestine and a cuppa apart, it’s still a good question. I can’t think of a decent joiner who wouldn’t stop for a brew, and Jesus was a very decent joiner. As far as I can make out, Jesus was always up for taking a break. He comes fresh from every moment spent alone with His Father. Fresh like the zest of a lemon. Whoever you are, wherever you are, take a moment to stop. Get with the Father and smell the zest and come out making a difference. Pete Hardy, Poplars Team.
