The Sunday after Easter Sunday is generally referred to as ‘Low Sunday’.
It takes its name from the fact that it follows what is undoubtedly the most important Sunday in the Christian calendar and so therefore how can we ever top that? On Easter Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus and the Christian belief that he is alive and continues to live with us today in our hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit.
If Jesus is alive then surely every day let alone every Sunday must be Easter Day! As the Bible tells us we should therefore ‘Rejoice always.’
