PUPILS from Worksop’s Palm’s Fitness Studio put on their dancing shoes for a special charity dance extravaganza in aid of Bassetlaw Hospital.
Eighty students showed off their street dance and cheerleading skills to friends and family in an energy-packed concert at North Notts Arena.
The twice-yearly event helped to raise over £3,000 which will buy much-needed toys and equipment for the children’s ward at Bassetlaw.
School manager Alison Dolby said the show was postponed after bad snow last December and that the children worked extra hard with dance teachers Susie Trigg and Abbie Gray to make it a success.
“We were so proud of them because they had hardly any time to practice with the snow, so we were over the moon it ran so smoothly - they and all our helpers did a fantastic job,” she said.
