Rock Challenge is an excellent opportunity for young people to perform live on a professional stage whilst encouraging an adrenalin-based high that can be experienced through performing rather than using tobacco, alcohol or other drugs.

Teams as small as 10, or as large as 135 students, will have up to eight minutes to perform their chosen theme to an audience of family, friends, VIPs, sponsors and a panel of industry professionals.

Every aspect of the performance will have been devised, designed and created by the students and we will see a variety of themes from the tackling of current social issues to the re-telling of real-life events or fictional pieces.

Samantha Eastwood, senior event manager, said: “Every year we are amazed by the amount of time and effort that schools put into creating their performances.

Schools learn the importance of team work and perseverance as their many hours or hard work pay off.

“This experience is the highlight of so many young people’s school careers and creates lasting memories for years to come.”
