Open darts tournament

The biggest event in the county darts calendar takes place on Easter Sunday when the Lincolnshire Open takes place at Riley’s, Crofton Road, Lincoln.

There will be EDO ranking points to be won, a £1,001 first prize in the men’s competition, Grand Prix points, a Winmau World Masters and a world professional place for men and ladies £401 first prize if registering between 10am and 11.30am.

This is the strongest ladies tournament in the history of the Lincolnshire Open, and already entered is the nine times world champion Trina Gulliver, the current world number one lady Ms Deta Hedman and the Gold Cup Singles winner Lisa Ashton.

Last year’s men’s open winner Dave Smith and former Lincolnshire Open winner Paul Harvey are already in for the men, as is world-ranked Andy Beardsmore.

Entry fee of £10 for the men’s and £8 for the ladies should be sent to Chestnut Manor, Fillingham Road, Willingham, Gainsborough, Lincs, DN21 5LN, or £15 entry on the day.
