One Direction star in hospice charity match

TICKETS are still available for the charity match which will see One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson’s Three Horse Shoes team face a Doncaster Rovers XI at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Doncaster-born Louis has organised Monday’s match to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Local Rovers fan Tony Critchley’s son Kian attends the hospice for respite care and the six-year-old will be a mascot at the game.

Tony said: “Kian is over the moon that he is going to be a mascot, we’re all big Doncaster Rovers fans so we’re really looking forward to the game.”

“Kian met Louis when he visited the hospice last year and it’s fantastic to see that he was touched by his visit and has chosen to support a local charity, we hope that it raises lots of money. Bluebell Wood is a lifeline for our family.”

Sarah Champion, Bluebell Wood chief executive, said: “We’re so excited about the match, lots of our families will be attending and we’re all really proud that Louis is supporting us.

Tickets, priced at £5 for adults and £3 for 16s and under, are on sale from the Keepmoat Stadium.
