October trial date is set

A GAINSBOROUGH man accused of attempting to murder his former partner will go on trial at Lincoln Crown Court in October.

Paul Henry, 45, of Lea Place, Gainsborough was due to appear at Lincoln Crown Court this month.

But a judge was forced to remove case from the list after the time estimated for the trial was doubled from one to two weeks.

The trial will now start at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday 8th October.

Henry denies trying to kill 43-year-old Claire Boswell at her home in Glentham Road on 15th September last year.

Judge Michael Heath remanded Henry into custody until his trial when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday.
