Police are warning motorists across the county to drive with care after a number of collisions during the recent cold weather.
Officers, particuarly in north Notts, are dealing with a number of collisions where roads appear clear but are affected by black ice.
Some sites have seen a number of collisions and police have closed the A631 between Bawtry and Everton following a series of incidents there.
Officers are continue to advise motorists to only travel where absolutely necessary and, if you are heading out, to watch your speed.
Motorists should also beware of black ice on the roads, especially on bends or where the road is shaded by trees.
