Notts: Police urge motorists not to drive due to heavy snowfall
Notts Police is advising all motorists not to travel on the county’s roads after heavy snow on Friday evening (26th December).
The snowfall has affected all major routes, included the A60 and A614.
A number of vehicles have been abandoned by motorists who had become stranded in the snow.
Officers are responding to calls for assistance, although the conditions will have an impact on response times.
Only essential journeys should be attempted until conditions improve.
