Notts man charged with attempted murder


A man has appeared at court charged with attempted murder.

Police were called to an address in Farthingate Close, Southwell, to a report of an assault, at about 3.30am on Friday 10 June.

A man was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical centre with serious injuries.

He has since been discharged and is recovering at home.

Thomas Farrow, 29, of Farthingate Close, Southwell, appeared at Nottinghamshire Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 11 June, charged with attempted murder.

He has been remanded into custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court.
