Notts: Level crossings to close for inspection work

Two level crossings in the region will be temporarily closed for a day this month and next

The crossing on station Road in Ranskill will be closed for rail condition monitoring from 12.30pm on Saturday, 26th October, to 1.20pm on Sunday, 27th October.

As a County maintained road ends at the end crossing and the continuation of the road along Common Lane is a public footpath, provision will be made for emergency services to gain access along with pedestrians.

Meanwhile, the Westbrecks crossing at Broad Lane in Cottam will be closed for rail inspections from 9pm on Saturday, 2nd November to 6am on Sunday, 3rd November.

During the closure, a diversion will be in place along Westbrecks Lane, Outgang Lane, Town Street, Headstead Bank and Broad Lane and vice-versa.
