Notts: County Council urges businesses to bid for their share of £1 million
Businesses and other organisations can now bid for a share of a new annual £1 million jobs and growth fund, provided by Notts County Council.
The Notts Economic Development Capital Fund will give £1 million for each of the next three years towards initiatives to support job creation in the county.
In that time it aims to support 40 businesses and organisations, create 200 new jobs, safeguard 150 existing jobs, attract an additional £6 million in match funding and improve 20 hectares of business land
Grants of over £20,000 are also available to invest in capital projects, provided they can provide evidence to show they will create or secure sustainable jobs,
Projects interested in applying for funding will need to register their interest by 23rd May. Application forms are available at www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/capitalfund
