North Anston: Renewed appeal for witnesses after 78-year-old left with life-threatening injuries

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to a collision in North Anston that left a 78-year-old female pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

At around 1.35pm on Saturday 2th August it is reported that a white Ford Transit van emerged from Woodsetts Road and turned right onto The Baulk, heading towards Nursery Road.

The van then collided with the elderly woman opposite The Cutler public house.

She was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Following enquiries police understand that there may have been a near miss collision moments earlier involving the same woman and another vehicle in the area.
