On the evening all participants will have the opportunity to be a frog owner or a jockey and can also have a bet on their favourite frog.

One of the organisers and chairman of the Worksop Support Group for Bluebell Wood, John Bower, said: “Everyone is invited to join us for the frog night and tickets are on sale at only £7 which includes a fish and chip supper.”

“It’s a fabulous evening of fun which is why we keep bringing it back year after year, one of our members Jane even has friends coming over from Germany especially for the evening.”

“More importantly it also raises money for children in our community that need our help, so by coming along you can have a great night and do your bit to help too.”

Emma Vizor, fundraiser at Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice added: “We hope everyone will come along and join in on this hopping mad night of fun.”

“We’d like to thank John and everyone involved for all their hard work.”

“All the money raised on the night will go towards helping us to deliver the best care possible for local children who are supported by our amazing staff at the hospice.”

Bluebell Wood offers care and support to children and young people with a shortened life expectancy, both in their own homes and at the hospice in North Anston. There are only 43 children’s hospices in the country so Bluebell Wood care for over 160 children from across the region.

It costs over £3 million a year to provide this vital service to families.
